The Motorola Droid R2-D2 released last year was initially running on Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS. Later However, the company updated it to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS. Verizon now will soon release a new software update for the Motorola Droid R2-D2 smartphone.
